CHUGIAK HS AND AMERICAN LEGION POST 33 BASEBALL MANAGER

November 5, 1945 - December 13, 2004

The Chugiak HS and American Legion Baseball Programs will feel the loss of our Baseball Team Manager, Coach Bill Lierman as the 2005 baseball season gets under way without him on the field.  Coach Lierman devoted over 10 years to the Chugiak Baseball program and was the American Legion Post 33 Baseball Manager for the past seven years.  Coach Lierman is also credited as the originator of the American Legion College Coaches Baseball Clinic for Alaskan High School aged baseball players.  Coach Lierman really had a love for the game of baseball and his devotion to continue coaching long after his son left the program is testimony in itself. 

COACH, YOU WILL BE MISSED!!!
